Welcome to The Victoria Practice

We are a three Partner Practice providing medical services on behalf of the Belfast Health & Social Care Board. The practice is suitable for disabled access. The Health Centre is wheelchair friendly and has disabled toilet facilities, disabled car parking bays, and lifts to access all floors.

We are not a Dispensing Practice.

Our aim is to provide a high quality, caring and personal healthcare service to our whole patient population by:

  • Putting our patients at the centre of what we do
  • Having a highly qualified and trained multi-professional integrated primary Healthcare Team
  • Offering our services in a safe, supportive and suitably equipped environment, using technological advances in healthcare systems for our patient’s benefit

We work very closely with our allied Community Nursing, Health Visiting and Specialist Teams to ensure your care is co-ordinated to the highest of standards. We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have.

Coronavirus Update

If you require urgent medical assistance please when the surgery is closed please contact the Out of Hours doctor on 02890 796220.

The Flu vaccine is now available. If you are over 50 or eligible because you are in an at risk category due to your medical condition, please contact reception to make an appointment on 90 563358.

Due to the recent concerns regarding the spread of Coronavirus or Covid-19, ALL ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS have been suspended. The GP’s will be operating a telephone triage system.

If you have a new continuous COUGH (this means you have started coughing repeatedly), a high TEMPERATURE (you feel hot to touch on your chest or back), FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS, SHORTNESS OF BREATH, CHANGE IN SMELL OR TASTE or have been in contact with a person with any of these symptoms, it is important that you DO NOT attend the GP, Hospital or Pharmacy. Instead ring 111 for advice and information.

On the 16th March new guidance was introduced for self-isolation of household contacts and social distancing. For more information see: COVID-guidance for households with possible coronavirus infection on the GOV.UK website.

To order repeat medication, we ask you to order on-line or use the repeat prescription line. If this is not possible, there is a dedicated prescription box located within our practice for you to leave requests. Please ensure you have all medications required written down prior to coming to the surgery. Pens will not be provided.

To stop the spread of infection we request that you DO NOT COME to the surgery to collect prescriptions. Please ring and speak to a member of our reception team to arrange NOMINATING A LOCAL PHARMACY to which we can send your prescription.

Please allow a little extra time for your prescriptions to be prepared at this unprecedentedly busy time, but do not order extra or stockpile.
